How we donate

Nobody involved in this project is getting any money from this performance. All the profit will go to donation.
Inside the 280kr ticket price, there is 25kr ticket printing/administration fee included. It was necessary to assure you a proper seat in fare, equal way without having you wait in front of the theater for a long time. All the rest will be donated, so when you purchase a ticket, you are already donating 255kr to Japan. Sum of those donation will be sent directly from the box office to our donating organization, without going through any of our private or corporate account, for safety and transparency.

There will also be donation box at the theater, so if you can, please donate more.  No card is accepted for donation at the theater, so please make sure to bring some cash with you. This is a very safe and good opportunity to donate for a good cause. If you would like to donate bigger amount of money,  as private or corporate donor, feel free to contact us.

As for the donating organization, we have built a good partnership with Läkare i världen (Médecins du Monde Sweden).
They are a international humanitarian organization, that gives medical care and voices to vulnerable people all over the world, and they have a very high international reputation in providing not only urgent short term, but also a long term medical care. In Sweden, they own a 90 number post-giro account, which is given only to highly trusted NPOs certified by the government. For this disaster in Japan, Médecins du Monde Japan has formed a medical group to Otsuchi, Iwate in Japan, to take care of basic medical support and mental health care in long term.  Japanese people became known for their polite behavior, even in this devastating situation. However, mental stress is still quite big and there are a lot of cases for mental illness from this extreme pressure. Mental health care is not very commonly accepted in Japan, therefore, there is very poor understanding and many people with mental health problem would not take care of themselves. To solve this situation, we thought "Läkare i världen" has a very clear and directed vision and reputation in this project. So after considering many other charity organizations, we decided to donate our money to Médecins du Monde Japan through Läkare i världen (Médecins du Monde Sweden).
Läkare i världen assured that 100% of this money will proceed to Japan, so there is no need to worry about money disappearing. There is high transparency with this organization.

This organization is very humble and gave us a lot of suggestion and advise as we had discussions for this charity performance. Also they wanted to know what we are doing in details, to ensure the money is coming from the right source. It gave us confidence in this partnership, and we would like to thank Ms. Lina Gamble of Läkare i Världen for that.
